Married in India but staying in US. where can we file for divorce ?

Boy and girl who were married in India (jaipur) left for US after marriage. Should they get Divorce in US or in INdia?
Accordance with Indian law masriage is performed hence it is advisable divorce either mutual consent or contested should be aquire under Indian law jurisdiction of court will be -
for Place of marriage - India
Where wife resides
Where respondent resides in case of husband
Where both husband & wife lately resides
Even divorce under US LAW WILL BE necessary to declare valid divorce under Indian law I.e s. 34 of specific eelife act further discussion contact 8983420903

It can be only in India since the marriage was held in India.The can not file a suit in the US for Divorce.The y can file the suit for divorce at Jaipur and the place of residence of the boy and the girl.

Both the courts in Jaipur,India and in US have jurisdiction to grant Divorce. Both being married at Jaipur the court in Jaipur can grant divorce, and as both are presently residing in US, the court at US can grant divorce. So the option is with both of you to file divorce at the place which is suitable for you both.
