If you are planning for a mutual divorce then you can always approach the family court according to your jurisdiction in India and file your 1st motion for divorce and then after 6 months 2nd motion will be filed. Documents required will be your ID Cards + Passport Photos + Marriage Photographs. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

Registration of marriage isn’t the only proof of marriage unless you want to challenge the marriage, it would be an accepted position.

Now what matters is that you want to file for mutual consent divorce (i.e., your wife also agrees for divorce or you will have to fight for this divorce(contested divorce)) this makes a lot of difference.

There are other things as well but we would have to schedule a proper consultation to be able yo assist you.

Please do feel free to reach out for any possible assistance.
