Marriage cancelled after engagement

Hi sir/madam, My engagement happened on 28 December 2023 agreeing in front of our families in arranged marriage fashion.Marriage date was fixed on April 3 2024, now the groom is refusing to marry me saying that she is a liar and so not respecting us.After engagement we use to meet weekly once we use to speak and go out but now he is refusing.Our parents promised to give dowry of 20lakhs and other gifts.Now he was selected in group 4 from that day he was refusing to marriage Please help me what

Feel grateful to your Lord that you got to know the groom intentions a way before marriage. Your life was saved. He could have tortured you and regretted of marrying you and may also trouble your parents for more dowry and stuff. Two things to do. 1. Thank your Lord for saving you from him. 2. Recover your money invested and also ask for the compensation for the damages through a notice.
