Maintenance for wife and child

I am a single parent with an 8 year old son who has been living with her parents for the last 5 1/2 years,am don't work,my husband is 45 years old( currently a law student) he says but he was abroad for 6 years working as a software engineer,what am I to expect in terms of maintenance for me and my son when he is claiming to have no money , please help.

if you are having a husband who is not paying you maintenance you will not become a single parent of your 8 year old son. you are post is not very clear about whatever you are intending to say. you better explain in detail.
