My hus filed divorce case against me. I filed for maintenance
My lawyer asking me to pay his one third salary in court as advance to apply for the petition and its refundable. Is it true. Do i need to pay court in advance in order to apply maintenance n interim maintenance. When they ll refund ?
Pls help me.
Actually you do not need to pay any advance to apply for maintenance. The said refundable advance sounds strange. May be you have misunderstood what your lawyer might have said. First try to get clarification from your lawyer.
