Legal or illegal marriage of maratha cast couple.

A maratha cast boy marry to his mother's brother's daughter. Whether it is legal by Hindu marriage act 1955?

Yes as per the custom in Marathas they marry to mother's brother's daughter or mother's brother's daughter as it is common thing under their customs. It can't be said illegal as per Hindu Marriage Act as doesn't comes under prohibit relationship.

the marriage if done shall be illegal as the condition as per the Hindu Marriage Act,1955 section 5 clearly mentions that no sapnidas can marry. sapnidas - sharing the same ancestors. thus u cannot marry your very own cousin sister.
