Is there any time limit for Domestic Violence Cast

Hi,
We have married 2 and half years back and we stay separately from last one and half year.
I stay at my hometown and She stayed at her hometown. We used to stay together in our house in Hyderabad but we have left an year and half back. Is there any way that Girl's parents can file a case against me as She is there with them.
I used to visit her house but stopped visiting from last 8 months.

try to resolve the issues amicably. she can file case for maintenance if she is not working and she can also file 498 A and domestic violence case. however if you are innocent of the allegations you can prove them in the court and the cases will get dismissed.
