Divorce by panchayat is not valid and is not legal. the governement departments therefore shall not recognise your divorce through panchayat. Best way is go for divorce by mutual consent from the court and also convince your Ex-wife for this. You and your Ex-wife shall be benefitted for the future. In alternate, please do not show your divorce by panchayat to your government department and simply ask them to change the name of the Nominee .

Hii...in your case you have got customary divorce which is socially one and acceptable. but legally it is not divorce its just an agreement which has taken place between you. you have to approach to district court for taking divorce by mutual consent u/s 13-B of HMA then you can delete your first wife s name from documents .
