Is it posible to get case transfered to another state for medical reas

My husband has filed divorce case in mumbai and I am in Karnataka at my parents place. He has deserted me stating false allegations that I left home threatening him of huge alimony & criminal cases. Whereas I just came to rest after surgery. I have a grade 4 endometriosis which is a severe medical condition. Will I be able to get the case transferred to Karnataka from Mumbai.

Yes, since you’re unable to attain the court due to medical condition, it would be reasonable and sufficient for transfer the case. Recently Supreme Court has taken view in a case where a husband files matrimonial proceeding at place where wife does not reside, the court is concerned should entertain such petition only on condition that the husband make husband makes appropriate deposits to bear the expenses of wife.
