is it ok to skip first hearing in RCR case hearing?

is it ok to skip first hearing in RCR case hearing? i received summons very shortly and couldnt even engage lawyer quickly. My place is ~400kms far from the court where hearing is happening

hi you should engage an advocate to represent on behalf of you or aend him vaklathnama to represent on behalf of you othwrwise you might be set aside exparte in the matter and you could contest the case
