Is divorce necessary for separation from live in partner ?

Hi, I have never done a registered marriage however we stayed together for 5 years & now separated. If I want to do a registered marriage in future with someone else do I need to obtain a divorce.
No need to get divorce, u do one thing make arrangements for one time settlement for maintenance.n get a order by court.then proceed with second relationship as u wish. As per act husband or wife can file application for divorce.

If marriage ia performed divorce is needed but in living relationship it is not at all needed hence when u have been seperated there is no necessity dor divorce as ur marriagr is not regiatered and you can get married and there is no bar to it.

Hi, live in relation is not marriage and you don't need to take divorce,but take care no action will be taken from girl side has she can file a Domestic violence case against you, if both of you can keep the past relationship silent and forget , and start a new life with different partners, then there is no problems.
