Interlocutory applications at arguments stage

25-Aug-2023 (In Divorce Law)
My divorce case is at arguments stage and we have finished our arguments whereas my wife is filing Interlocutory Applications one after another to avoid the final arguments and orders as the case is almost decided and I expect merit on my side. I would like to know how many IA can be filed by my wife at this stage and what is the way to finish the case asap?

It is a sort of unwritten tactics to drag on the case. Normally, once the final arguments from both sides are over the case will be posted for passing orders. If the judge feels like the said interlocutory application is bonafide and necessary then the IA can be taken on file. If the IA is vexatious then it will be dismissed with or without cost.
