In Section 125 CrPC, transparency is vital. You must file an updated assets/liabilities affidavit citing change in circumstances. Concealing a salary hike risks perjury and invites adverse orders as per the concerned provisions of law.

The Party has the duty to inform the Court and other party/parties about change in circumstances. A Supplementary Affidavit or Ammended Affidavit may be filed. It is important to intimate the same lest otherwise allegations of misleading the Court /Parties may be put on you during the proceedings.
