Insanity of my husband and faking suicide attempt

My husband is so carefree always and doesn't want to take up any responsibility at all. But he doesn't give Me the financial help required to run and take the responsibility of the household. He has always taken things his way and if it moves a little even away from what he wants of his carefree life .. he threatens to suicide to get is way out in such cases. What should I do in such a case because I know he is faking the suicide to get his way and manipulating. How do I deal with this? .. people at home think I am insensitive when I say he is faking his suicide.

Legal. File a suit for maintenance. Alternatively can Lodge complaint for threatening and attempt to suicide. Social. Can go for marital counseling and meditation counseling if matter in such a scenario.

A more clear picture of your household is required to give a workable solution to your problem. how long you are married what is the ages of your children and whether both of you are working. you can use his threat of committing suicide as an act of cruelty and basic protection from law.
