Section 13(1)(i-a) provides that a Hindu marriage may be dissolved by a decree of divorce if after the solemnization of marriage, the respondent has treated the petitioner with cruelty. Cruelty means such conduct of the wife which causes mental or physical pain, suffering, or apprehension in the mind of the husband that it becomes impossible for him to live with her.

If your wife is continuously harassing you and your family members mentally or physically, it amounts to cruelty under Section 13(1)(ia) of the Hindu Marriage Act and you can seek divorce on this ground. You may also collect evidence such as abusive messages, call recordings, medical reports, and witness statements. A complaint can be made to the local police or Women Cell if false cases are being threatened. You may also approach the Family Court for protection and file a petition for restitution of conjugal rights or divorce, and seek injunction against harassment. Legal notice through an advocate can also be sent to stop further abuse.

you can take divorce from your wife you can file a petition for divorce on ground of cruelty under the Hindu marriage act the section 13 of hma your wife is abusing you and your family members so she can be held under hma act
