I want to marry my girlfriend as we both are 18 years old.

23-Apr-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hello, I am 18 years old and my girlfriend is also 18 years old. We both want to marry with each other. I talked to her father and asked to marry her daughter. But he denied because of different castes, and now they are looking for her marriage with someone else. Do I have any option to marry her now?

If she is ready to marry, you both can marry in court. And if her parents are forcing her to marry against her will, she can file a complaint in police. Or you can also call on her behalf to police station.

minimum marrigible age for boys is 21 years. it is because law presumes that parties should be of a minimum marrigiable age before undertaking the irreversible and sacred social and personal responsibility of marriage.
