18-Aug-2023 (In Divorce Law)
My marrige has completed 2 years. I have made a very wrong decision. It was the lockdown period and there was a serious risk of lossing my job. I literally get scared that how could i help my family. As im the only earning member of my family. I have mother and a younger sister. Now i want to go to home and continue my study while continuing my job. But my in-laws dont want this.. additionally, i feel that my husband and his mother tries to make me emotional all the time so that i cant get out of this relationship. What kind of help i can get in this situation? Can i get a divorce?

As per your query in law rato, yes if your husband is also ready for divorce then we can file a mutual divorce before the district Court. And we get the mutual divorce as early as possible. Hope fully, you got the answer.

since you are already married for more than a year now so the avenue of divorce is open to you to explore however it is important to introspect if divorce is really what you want because it's not worth to repent later on. as far as going away to your home to study and work is not at all a ground to take divorce. so legally speaking there has to be some valid grounds for you to file divorce. as a word of caution I must add that contested divorce is a long drawn legal battle which can be shortened by mutual divorce. if you only want to go home and study and work then you can also apply for judicial separation and see if that works for you or not. the grounds are similar as divorce but here you get a chance to reevaluate your options at a later stage.
