I got married in 2021 but due to some issue i have filed divorce against my husband. my parents gave jewellery, furniture, and household gift in marriage and my mother in law also gave me jewellery. Can i get back all the things that my parents and in laws gave to me how can i file for those things and get it from them as they are not willing to return moreover will i get the money for expenses that my parents did for my inlaws during marriage party or reception?

What ever you got in marriage from your parents or from the in laws is considered as istridhan and you got the right over it. best way to recover those articles is to file a complaint in police station under 406, 498-A ipc. if the police does not take any action then a complaint can be filed in court..
