I retired from private employment. Got divorced. nI married a woman of 42 years age with a grown-up daughter for the second time. She is employed by a private institution and gets paid regularly every month.As the daughter is unhappy with the new family setup, both my wife and her daughter are living separately for the last about 8 months. All my efforts to get united did not bear any fruit and when I insisted to stay together, she suggests to go for divorce on mutual consent without any monetary compensation. She also agrees that I was not at fault. I thought she would change her mind and waited after all this time. When I lost hope, I agreed to divorce but now she has been quiet. I don't know what is in her mind.In this scenario, I would like to know what is the maximum one-time settlement she can claim (if at all she opts for).I am dependant on my savings for living and to take care of my only son life long who is intellectually disabled.
