I have married last year but my husband is drinker, womaniser and dowr

If my husband went to abroad after he done all abuses here, how i proceed this? I should file FIR ? Or I can simply get seperated from him. Im confused what to do

Dear Client…. You must carefully make your own final decision because only you truly understand your life and c circumstance. Whether your husband can change his behaviour aur whether he is likely to continue the same where is something only you can judge based on your personal experience and your family situation . If your husband committed abuse in India and later went abroad, you can still take legal action here. You may file an FIR or a Domestic Violence case for cruelty, harassment, or abuse, even if he is now overseas. Separately, you can also seek divorce on grounds of cruelty and alcoholism. Criminal action and separation/divorce are independent remedies; you may choose one or both depending on your safety and future needs.

Yes, you can initiate criminal proceedings in India since the cause of action arises here. Give a complaint with all women police station where you reside now. you can also bring it to court as Domestic violence case.
