I have few queries concerning my Divorce proceedings

Hello, 1) Can court treat contesting divorce petition as null and void in case one party submits wrong affidavit. Religion: Hindu 2) can i file maintenance and divorce in single petition. i have received contesting divorce petition from my wife. 3) My wife has asked for divorce along with the costs. what does that mean.
1.) Just on the basis of wrong affidavit court cannot treat the petition as null and void.
2.) Yes you can file divorce and interim maintenance in single petition.
3.) That means you need to pay her a litigation cost incurred by her on first date.

In reply to your first query it is true to say that court can take suitable action for filing affidavit with false statements.
In reply to second query, the application under section 24 HMA can be filed along with divorce petition.
