I have an affair and 1.3 month old baby from the second relationship

If a married man has a child from extramarital affairs, what is the law against him in India? Can i be jailed for this ? how far this can go ? I have two kids from first marriage and one from the affair. I dont want my kids to be punished for my actions.

hi alocious here, I can well understand your concern from the query raised, the child shall have all rights as a child to a father, including rights of inheritance, but you cannot claim any rights as per the provisos of the existing laws, thank you, you can contact me for further clarifications

Now, adultery is not a crime. If you have undergone marriage for the second time, the first wife could file a case against you for Bigamy. or it could be a ground for Divorce. Children from both relationship would be considered as your legal heirs.
