I have a query related to Legal seperation

07-Jul-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I am a 39 year old Indian woman who got married in February 2005. My marriage is friendly and amicable but it feels like two stakeholders rather than life partners. Following are some facts: ●There is no emotional or physical intimacy from past 4-5 years. ●He lives in a seperate city from last 3 years and visits during weekend. ●Our relationship is non sexual from last 5-6 years. ●We have an eight year old daughter. ●I would need child support but don't need spousal support. ●Currently I reside in Jaipur. ●I don't know his take on seperation because whenever I raise this topic his standard answer is-" if you wish to end it, go ahead but I see no issues in this marriage." Please help as I can't see myself stuck in this comfortable marriage which makes me feel deprived at emotional and physical level. I have heard of terms like legal seperation and no fault divorce, can that be my option? I want to know if there is an amicable way of seperation which is less complicated.

In your case amicable settlement of divorce can be a good option as breakdown of a marriage is possible due to emotional reasons. Mutual consent divorces are way less complicated if any 1 of the spouses is not willing to divorce then it gets complicated as then you need concrete reasons to end the marriage rest you can contact me for details.
