I am not got consent letter, but he did second marriage

Is it right even I am not received any mutual consent form received from court, he can still marriage? Is there way punish him?
In India, a second marriage without a divorce is considered void and is a criminal offense. The Indian Penal Code Section 494 states that a person who marries again while their spouse is still alive can be imprisoned for up to seven years.
