There is no standard measure of how much one should pay. There is no standard formula for fixation of maintenance / alimony. A lot depends of Judge and facts of the case. You haven't mentioned all the facts by the way. Maintenance / alimony are decided based on wife's education level and employability, her health in some case etc, standard of living of husband, husband's liabilities etc. If children are staying with wife then the alimony of wife and maintenance of children.

There are no specific parameters to decide how much alimony you have to pay once your wife files litigation on you. Court will go through the merits and facts of your case. If court finds no wrong from your side you don't have to pay anything also don't bring all this on record so that she will have to prove all of your income sources.

sir ,
Court has the discretionary power to grant to grant maintenance to your wife , depend upon your earning it may be one third percentage of salary , may be 50 percent as per latest Supreme Court decision . finally Court can decide the maintenance according to law , and there is no any impact about your deduction of salary in case of of house loan it is . if you have any difficulty please contact me immediately .
