No person can legally force you to take Khula or compel you to dissolve the marriage against your free consent. If you were pressured, threatened, or abandoned at your parental home, such conduct may amount to mental cruelty and domestic violence. Your husband cannot unilaterally end the marriage merely by threats. If he intends to seek divorce, he must follow due legal process before the competent court. You have legal remedies to seek: • Maintenance/support • Residence rights • Protection against harassment/intimidation • Restitution of matrimonial rights, if you wish to continue the marriage • Appropriate action under domestic violence laws, if cruelty or coercion is involved Preserve all messages, call recordings, and evidence showing pressure for Khula or abandonment. Do not sign any settlement, Khulanama, or divorce-related document under pressure or without proper legal advice. Immediate legal consultation is advisable to protect your rights and future claims.

Khula cannot be forced upon you without your free consent. Merely leaving you at your parents’ house and threatening divorce does not automatically dissolve the marriage. If your husband files for divorce, he must prove valid legal grounds before the Court. You also have legal rights to claim maintenance, residence, and other reliefs depending upon the facts of the case. Preserve all messages, calls, and evidence of pressure or abandonment.

Khula can't happen by force, your consent is essential. Mere pressure or threats are not enough to force separation. If there is mental cruelty, harassment, or coercion, keep all messages call records safely.
