Right now getting very less compared to his salary. But court gave the order less than what ever he has been giving. How come the court can reduce my maintenance ? He is in d top most position in some company. Earning very nicely. I just want to know how much% can I get as maintenance for my daughter and myself ?I'm a home maker. Not working. Thank you so much.

Usually. After the trial is over, after it is proved about the husband's income, the court awards the right amount of maintenance to the wife and child. In case of Interim Maintenance, since all evidence is not available, court will award reasonable maintenance.
If you are not happy with the interim maintenance awarded, you approach High Court for a revision

It is clear that you are already represented by an advocate and what you are asking is a second opinion. As I cannot comment about another advocate without knowing facts well, I can only tell you that you are during the proceedings are entitled to similar standard of living had you been living with your husband, and so is your son,

Madam

As your told you are getting much lesser maintenance. Why did not challenged the maintenance before the appellate court. You have liberty to challenge the quantum of compensation at appellate court. But you should give all the necessary document while filing the appeal.

The amount of maintenance awarding is the discretionary power of the court. But in case if your provide more materials to show that your husband having more income, the court will awarded more maintenance.

If you want to try for more amount, you can challenge.
