My husband and in-laws made conspiracy and drove me out of their family. We got married last year according to Hindu law and Both of us were in very good relation till recent but suddenly one day over phone he asked me for mutual divorce keeping me in total mental agony.Recently I got to know they have been searching bride for my husband even after our marriage was going on smoothly and they have been contacting matrimonial sites in search of another bride. Is there any law under which I can file FIR or take action against them for doing fraud and misleading with my life?

Hi,
Yes there are a lot of remedies available for you.
I would suggest you to file a Domestic violence petition and claim maintenance , residence , interim protection etc.
Then file a case for maintenance.
Then add up with criminal cases.
For more information feel free to have a word with me.
All the best

Are you living with your husband or not? If not, then you can file suit for restitution of conjugal rights by which court will grant the order for guilty party is to live with the aggrieved party. Apart from this, you can take help from CAW cell where you need to file complaint regarding your matter.

Yes you can file a complaint for cruelty and can get a FIR registered under section 498A IPC. You can also file a petition under section 9 of Hindu Marriage Act i.e. For restitution of conjugal rights and also tou can seek residential rights under section 19 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act.
