You cannot directly obtain your husband’s details from the Malaysian Embassy under Indian law. However, you can file a police complaint in India for desertion, cruelty, or maintenance under IPC/CrPC provisions. Once an FIR or court case is registered, Indian authorities may request help from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to trace him abroad through diplomatic channels. You may also approach the Indian Embassy/Consulate in Malaysia with a court order. For custody/maintenance of your minor daughter, you can file a petition under Section 125 CrPC or personal laws applicable to you. A family court can also issue summons/warrants which can be sent through the MEA for service in Malaysia. It is advisable to engage a family lawyer to initiate proceedings in India so that proper legal steps can be taken.

Yes, you can seek your husband’s details, but not directly from the Malaysian Embassy. As per Indian law, you need to file a police complaint and/or approach the local court. The court can issue summons or a Look-Out Circular, and through the Ministry of External Affairs, you can request assistance from the Malaysian authorities. You may also file a case under Section 125 CrPC for maintenance or under the Domestic Violence Act, and the court can help you get his details legally.

Namste, yes you can. You can also file a maintenance case against your husband. but first of all you have address of your husband of Malaysia. You can file a case of restitution of conjugal rights and other litigation. for more details please contact Adv Khevna Reshamwala.
