Hi, My cousin's wife left to her parents house for more than one and half years now, and now she sent "Custody of Children. They have 3 year old twins. What happens if my cousin do not attend the court on said date and what are his options. They are Christians.

once a summons has been issued by the court, the person to whom the summons has been issued has to represent themselves in the court or else they will be placed exparte and an order will be passed. to avoid this situation, the person has to go to the court on the date which the case is listed
