How to get off the family member names from 498A FIR

My wife file FIR against me and my family without mention specific date and time. Just she mentioned that my husband asked dowry and his family member (with name ) torture me.nnAlmost 6 months gone but yet she did not submit any single evidence in police station against me and my family.nnSo can I request to my IO to remove the name of my family members.nnPlease suggest other options.
If your wife failed to comply with her notice under section 91 then the IO can drop the names of the uninterested parties before filing the chargesheet in the court. But if he/she fails to do the same then after filing of the chargesheet you need to approach the High Court for quashing of the FIR. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

an io cannot remove the name of a person after writing his or her name in the FIR so you have only two options
firstly fight the case and win if you have sufficient evidence in favour you
secondly make a settlement between you and the complainant and go to the high court for quashing the FIR

The concerned I/o on his enquiry & investigation can keep the names in column 12 of chargesheet if he doesn’t find any appropriate evidences ! However u can’t bound I/o taking such step !
