How to get NOC from a lawyer who is not interested in case proceedings

01-Oct-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I am Hindu by religion, and I have filed a divorce case. I have spent already lots of money on the case but not seeing any improvement at all because now Im getting to know that the lawyer is not taking timely action with the proceedings. So, I have decided to change the lawyer and have found one through a friend. Now if i ask for NOC, the previous lawyer asks for lumpsum. Please suggest any other solution because i cannot pay any extra amount for NOC

Not much problem, as basically in family law an advocate by a practice enters into the case by virtue of a IA under section 13, So, to change your advocate it is enough if you just file a memo in open court withdrawing it,

Hi....you just speak with your previous lawyer and tel him that if he not giving noc you will file affidavit before the court and as per Karnataka High court judgement noc is not required you produce the same before the court and file new vakalath
Thanks
