How to get divorce without consent of husband

What kind of Indian law is it where a wife cannot get divorce if the husband denies? He can harass her life long and just bcoz he is not giving the consent INDIAn law does not allow divorce? Fighting for such cases may lead to years n years . Waste of time and money just to get rid of an irritating person??? In such situations how the law is in favour of a wife ???
the law is in favor of the person who have proper evidence to prove that you have been sunjected to cruelty and that it is impossible to live with such a person rather cursing the law you shall take appropriate steps to fet divorce even if the husband denies to give you divorce yes it is a long process but there is result
