How to get child custody if not divorced and not living together

Me and My husband not living together since three years and I am taking care of girl child financially and everything. I have not applied for divorce yet, so can I get child custody without divorce . As husband was ready earlier for mutual divorce and now not ready to give divorce, I have not applied for it yet as it will take long time. Suggest me what should I do now?

Hello, you can file suit or proceedings before family court or district court by filing an application in divorce proceedings and also through petition filed under Guardian and wards Act, unless you file any suggested proceedings you cannot get any judicial order to get custody of child
