Hi,
You have not stated clearly that you filed a case and they are not called the accused or whether the case is registered or not . Did you mean to say that you gave a complaint and they have not registered a case against your husband and inlaws. For further assistance call us through the website

Madam,
What do you mean by no action taken? What is the status of your case? Has the police started investigation? After registration of FIR, the police will issue Sec 41 A Cr.PC notice to your husband and in-laws for recording their statements. Thereafter, the police will record the witnesses statements and thereafter they will investigate further in the case which may take some time and at last, they will file the charge sheet before the magistrate court . Its just 2 and half months since the FIR is registered. Wait for some time and follow up with the police and assist them to complete their investigation.

Dear Client,
Action will not be taken immediately. You must go to Police Station time and again. Even if they did not respond to your complaint then file a private complaint in a nearer magistrate`s court for punishment of your husband by duly bringing the fact of your filing of complaint in a police station and police did not take any action, by filing xerox copy of police report and their findings on report given by you. Take Expert Legal advise by engaging an expert advocate who deals in cases under Section : 498 A of I.P.C.
