How to File mutual divorce when husband left abroad without informing.

Hi. I’m divya . I’ve been married for 1 yr and 6 months. Due to compatibility issues and in laws mental torture I’m living at my home since 6 months. husband was eager to look for lawyer and initiate for mutual divorce. I asked for compensation as this was our second marriage and he was not ready to rethink.there was no communication from their side. I’m planning to go abroad for higher studies.but today came to know that husband left abroad for work without informing me.how do i get divorce now

You can file petition seeking divorce before court even though your husband is not in India. Apart from that, you can appear before the family court through power of attorney for conducting the case you are filing

you can file petition for divroce against your husband and notices will be sent to his address and after return of notice sent to him with endorsement addressee left india, you can get the notice to him published in news paper and thereafter court will give you exparte divorce. for compensation yoy can attach his properties. if you are going abroad you can execute power of attorney to prosecute case on your behalf.
