How to divorce my husband and claim the money spent on marriage

My sister is married 2 month ago. From the first day her husband and his family harassing her daily. Now they left her at our place and saying they dont want her. What can we do. We want to divorce her from his husband and also our money spent on marriage. Please advice what to do ?

U will have to move complaint before local police station for demanding Dowry against them and also have file petition for maintenance in court against husband. Thereafter they will be compelled to compromise the matter with u, so at that time u can claim amount for getting divorce.

first of all your sister should once again go back to her matrimonial house and then in case if they do the same taunts and try to through her out of her house then call police and file a DDR i.e written complaint against in laws then tell them entire story that they had already thrown her once out of her matrimonial house and this is the second time also they use to beat her and inflict taunts over her in the pretest of demanding dowry. Then only she can pursue with divorce latter on based on that DDR.

you can file a divorce case in the court of law. your sister can claim maintenance and the court will also order the other party to pay all the amount spent by your family on the wedding and also return all the gifts given in marriage to your sister's husband and their family and any other belonging of your sister.
