Madam, the facts stated by you indicate serious matrimonial issues which require a detailed examination of the circumstances after your marriage. You may have legal remedies available under family laws depending upon the nature of the demands, harassment, and treatment meted out to you. It would be advisable to consult and engage an experienced Family Court Advocate with all relevant documents and details so that appropriate legal action can be initiated to protect your rights and interests.

Based on the facts stated by you, it appears that you made significant personal and professional sacrifices for the marriage, including resigning from your employment and relocating to your matrimonial home. If thereafter you were subjected to neglect, emotional cruelty, dowry demands, harassment or abandonment, you need not continue to suffer in silence. Preserve all messages, emails, financial records and other evidence relating to your marriage. You may seek appropriate legal remedies including restitution of rights, maintenance, protection from domestic violence, recovery of stridhan and, if circumstances warrant, divorce proceedings. Before taking any final decision, obtain a detailed legal consultation and evaluate the available evidence. Your rights under law remain protected, and any action should be taken strategically based on facts and documentary proof rather than emotions alone.
