How much maintenance or alimony wife demand

Hi All.... How much amount wife can demand under per month maintenance or alimony till upto how much time husband like to pay maintenance or alimony to wife. Can wife able to get husband and his parents property and bank balance.On which grounds husband not bound to pay maintenance or alimony to wife.

it depends upon the financial condition of the husband. normally take it anything from 20% to 40% depending upon if you have kids or not and what are your liabilities. wife has no right or the properties of the husband so long husband is alive. she can just claim maintenance. she has no right in husband's parents properties. normally it has to be paid till she got married. maintenance can be avoided if she is living in adultery

There is no Suo Motu ownership right of the wife in any of the husband or husband's relative's property. The wife can only claim maintenance from the husband which is to be decided by the Court. court consider various things while deciding maintaince such as lifestyle, income of the husband, children born of the wedlock, loans and emi paid by spouses etc. For more info just contact me.
