How Get Divorce after 15 year of Separation, I don't know where my husband, his family always telling me that they don't know. I am leaving vanaprastha life in ashrams. Kindly guide me. I am in Delhi now, bt marriage held in Punjab

Since you have been separated for the last 15 years and do not know the whereabouts of your husband, you can file a petition for divorce on the ground of desertion and cruelty under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. If your husband’s whereabouts are not known, the court will allow substituted service (like newspaper publication) to issue notice. If he still does not appear, the court can proceed ex-parte and grant divorce.

Since you have been separated for 15 years and do not know your husband’s whereabouts, you can file for divorce in the Family Court. If his address is not traceable, the Court can permit service by newspaper publication. Non-appearance after such service may lead to an ex-parte divorce decree. Hi there, you can get divorce on the grounds of desertion which is if your husband has left you or is whereabouts are unknown for more than two years. You can issue notice to his parents address you can get divorce under the ground of 7 years of separation and not knowing for 7 years this is valid ground of divorce for further query plz feel free to cal
