Hindu Marriage issue related to mutual consent divorce

We got married in August 2020, we spent good time and also fine sexual life. Every wedding has some arguments also thus we also have, I have never done any physical voilence. She had adjustment problem with my family, demanded for divorce many times. so finally we decided to move to a rented flat in May 2022, then also we had arguments in addition to enjoy moments. Due to work and responsibilities, the frequency of sexlife decreased. 20 days back we have an argument that heated up and she went and told me that she will not come now. Now her father is involved in the matter and saying that we have not slept together since May 2022, which is completely wrong. He is threatening our simple family to drag to the court for 5-10 years. We have never asked for the dowry also, they have given some jewelry as the gift. What could be the challenges and how we can solve this problem with out draining money and time. And we want to ignore the alimony.
