Hindu Marriage - I had filed for divorce from my wife and then

18-Oct-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I filed for divorce from my wife and then she made DV and 498a, 34 cases against me and family. We've already got bail. I filed for divorce 6 months before she made her fake complaints. What I want to know is that if I get the divorce first then would all the other cases close? Also, is there some application or appeal through which I can get divorce early? I've enough evidence to prove cruelty and she knows this and that is why filed fake complaints and cases to harass me.

If you have already filed the divorce petition then the quickest way to finish all these is only mutual divorce because it's cost effective and ends up in a maximum of six months. And as far as the other cases are concerned it will remain in force but you can always draft a settlement deed and in that you can write to withdraw the following cases.

hello so if there is a significant amount of delay in filing all the cases by your wife then you have a good case against all the fake cases she have filed. chances of getting a favouring order in your favour is very high. Also usually all these matrimonial matters will go simultaneously together and at the end of the proceedings all the matters get quashed. Also the rest of your querries can be looked into after going through all the evidences you have.

divorce will not make you free from other legal liability or punishment. you have to fight all the case after divorce also but if everything is settled in meditation than the case can be disposed from Courts and fir from high court.
