hiiii i wanna know about divorce.ii need legal advice.

hi.....I want to know about divorce. I have been married for 6 years .I have one child. since 6 years I have been suffering a lot. lots of times he beat me. I never file any case against him. now I cant tolerate physical assault. I belong to poor family. I don't want any alimony. I just want separation. please guide me.

Hi You have certain legal remedies to avail for redressal of your matrimonial discord. You can file a domestic violence complaint and seek maintenance, return of stridhan, protective order etc. Further you can file for judicial separation or divorce on the ground of cruelty.

If the behaviour of your husband is intolerable towards you then you can always file a divorce petition according to your district. I would suggest you to go for mutual divorce because it is less money consuming and gets over within maximum six months. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

as of today mam section 498a is used by a women in India to file a complaint against her husband for mental and physical torture or any harassment. although for creating pressure on husband and in-laws you can file criminal case as well as family case against them.

Hi, sorry to hear what you are going through. Yes, you can file for a divorce & file an FIR for the assault that he is doing in order to force him to give you a divorce.
