Highly Urgent! I'm attending Supreme Court Mediation. I've ex-parte RCR HMA Sec-9 order in my favour. All cases like Divorce, Maintenance, etc. were filed by wife after that in her hometown. To expedite and for mandatory counseling, I also filed Divorce in my hometown in response to which my wife filed this Transfer Petition. Learned Mediator conducted session yesterday. Wife is not willing to restore conjugal life, and she just blabbered her petition. Mediator agreed to all my submissions but bluntly said that - "even though you are not at fault, you will have to pay alimony. I put the amount of ₹5 lakhs but Mediator said this is unreasonable since you earn handsomely and your wife is nearing 30, this amount will not be enough. After 2 rounds of negotiation between my father and Mediator, the final settlement amount reached is ₹ 10 lakhs, to which my wife and family agreed. I earn 2X. The Agreement will be prepared today I'm highly appalled by the Judicial system. What can I do now?
