Hi Sir/MamMy husband and I are staying separate for closer to an 1 year because of his behavior and he used to beat me when we were together. Now i got few months onsite in USA and need to take my daughter with me. nCan I get complete custody of my daughter so i can get her passport done without filing divorce?nBecause last time her passport application got rejected and i was told to get either court custody order or father's consent.

yes, you have to first file in Court for custody of your daughter for yourself in order to take her to an outside country with you. you should have fight for judicial separation by now, which would have made the custody matter easier.
