Help regarding exparty divorce

Hi I am a hindu women from Amritsar who got married in 2015 with a guy in Merrut. I got separated within a year with my husband. However no legal Divorce happened. Now I have come to know my ex husband got ex party divorce in Merrut and got married also. I came to know because now his new wife is getting divorced. What are my options? My things are still there? I want my jewelry and car back.

If your husband took an ex-parte divorce without proper notice to you, you can challenge and get it set aside from the Meerut court. If the divorce is invalid, his second marriage can amount to an offence (bigamy). You also have full rights over your stridhan (jewelry, car, etc.). You can file a case for recovery and also take action under criminal law or Domestic Violence Act. You may also claim maintenance if required. Act quickly and obtain the divorce case records first

U can set aside exparte decree buy reopening the petition that service was not made and ur husband in collusion of other staff committed fraud on court .and also u can get your stuff back as it's istridhan and u have an exclusive ownership
