Hello,nMy husband cheated on me with other lady. They have been talking for a while and also got physical once (when my daughter was only 1 month old).nWe are married for 5 years. My husband accepted his mistake and promised me to not repeat the same in future. But I would like to get some legal advice & documents done and signed by him for my and my daughter's future security. Thank you.

What your husband has done is morally wrong but not a legal wrong. If he has accepted his mistake and has assured you of not committing the same in future then you'll have to rely upon him. As both if you are still residing together it is not advisable to take any legal action of sending notice etc.
