Harassed by in laws can I send them legal notice to give them warning

Want to give a legal warning to husband and his family as a part of last chance, before going for divorce.. Please suggest the correct Law number which I can file for, for sending notice to them. Specify the number.
Thete is no such law number for sending notice. But there are grounds under section 13 of HMA under which petition for divorce can be filed.you may talk to me for details and legal help if so desire.

You can send legal notice to husband and their family member. In legal notice you may demand of maintenance as well as stopping of harassment. You have legally right to file against the said persons divorce petition or Domestic violence case. Section 13 Hindu Marriage Act define of divorce.

you can send the the legal notice by stating the grounds of cruelty and domestic violence.after that wait for their reply and then if they reply then based on that you can file a divorce petition. if you get a reply then the reply will also give a brief idea about their defence statement also.
