Got married 4 months back. Since then my husband don't show any intrest in talking to me or sharing his stuff. He keep his all belongings in different room and just reply when I initiate talk. Also he and his mother never let me involve in any household decisions or activity even after asking for it. He kept my jewelry and documents at his hometown without informing me and never told about it till I asked for it. Also they don't give food item they order except the daily normal meal even after my parents asked him to take care of me many times. nWhat are my rights in this case and how to get my belongings back from them. I am working so need my documents for company verifications.

hi you could file domestic violence case against husband and inlaws on the ground of harassement and mental torture and file 498A case against him and may ask the court to recover the goods taken by them

you can initiate a divorce case and at the same time you can claim whatever the belonging is under the custody of your husband and mother in law you can take back within a stimulated time period once you file you can clean whatever you have given whatever is a there in their custody and you have complete right on your husband and whatever the things belongs to your husband so you need not to worry in all this scenario once you approach legally they will also come and settle the issue ok

you have every right to file a case against your husband in the domestic violence act and if he is not taking care of you you can fight in the code against your husband and your in laws also I can claim your maintenance and you can restore your conjugal rights by appearing in the court by taking the advance from advise advocate
