forced registry marriage which took place 4years ago. No cohabitation

10-Nov-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I am a hindu girl. I was forced for a registry (by special marriage) by my parents and the boy(husband). Then a social marriage was fixed but I did not do social marriage. I did not stay with him even for a single day, as I never wanted this marriage. When social marriage cancelled, the boy agreed to do mutual divorce but after few years. Now he says he will not do. I want to get divorce as soon as possible, with no maintainance, no alimony. The aim of the boy is to delay the case so that I can't remarry. He wanted to stay with me but had not file RCR. The problem is that I donot find any proper ground for divorce. So far I learned, annulment is not possible beyond 1year. How to get divorce and and how much time it may take?

We have to make a case up in order to give you relief since already few years has gone by since the court marriage. For this purpose you have to come to my chamber. Because it is difficult to discuss the whole case here. Further it is difficult to state any duration of a case as it depends on case to case basis and the judge presiding the court. Hope this answer helps you and please contact me so that we can proceed with the case.

There is sufficient reason for you to Divorce of the person . You can take a stand that marriage was solemnized against your wishes , and hence you think that you will not be honest to your husband . You want to end up the marriage without any alimony and maintenance .
